The inside of the dumbbell heads use a soft extruding piece designed to create a shorter gripping surface area, while maintaining a traditional pro style dumbbell head to dumbbell head distance to fit on most dumbbell saddle racks.

The shortened gripping area helps promote grip stability and safety by reducing forearm fatigue during exercise.

These York Dumbbells offer a robust solid steel 33 mm diameter handle to promote added strength and resistance to bending if accidentally dropped.

The dumbbell heads are made from solid steel, much stronger and more resistant to breakage than traditional cast iron dumbbells. They are coated with virgin rubber to offer excellent protection and are fully welded to the dumbbell handles for maximum strength.

Due to the quality construction, these commercial pro style dumbbells are ideal for home gyms, high school weight rooms, college, military and commercial fitness centers.
