The Body-Solid (SDP) Round Rubber Dumbbells use iron ends with through holes that allow each precision-machined steel handle to pass through the head before welding. Virgin rubber is then molded over the end weights to complete the integrated construction. This design avoids a separately bolted plate stack and provides a durable connection for repeated residential and commercial strength training, including presses, rows, curls, raises, lunges, carries, and other free-weight exercises.
Virgin Rubber Heads with Medium-Knurled Chrome Grips
Rounded heads give these commercial rubber dumbbells a compact, traditional profile for compatible rack storage and controlled lifting. The virgin rubber exterior helps reduce equipment noise and contact against surrounding surfaces, while embossed weight markings support quick selection. Each solid steel handle has chrome plating that resists chipping, flaking, peeling, and corrosion. Medium knurling across the six-inch internal grip adds useful hand contact without changing the straight handle profile.
