These VTX Cast Iron Olympic Plates offer high-quality cast iron construction with reinforced grips for added strength. They feature higher precision overall than the Troy USA Sports line of weight lifting plates, giving you more precise molding, a higher quality paint finish, and better weight accuracy with a 3% weight deviation, versus the USA Sports line's 5%.

These VTX Plates also have machine-bored holes for a perfect fit with your Olympic bar. Plus, the 3-grip design is just a bonus, providing easier plate handling that also translates to enhanced safety for your or your clients.

With so many weight plates with grips available today, comparing the differences can be quite a task. With these VTX Olympic Plates, the grips are reinforced at the base with added cast iron. This design helps resist cracking or breakage if the plates are accidentally dropped.

In addition, the reinforced grip is slightly raised from the back of the plate. The raised gripping area creates a gap between the floor and the grip when the plate is lying flat, making pick up much more manageable than other workout plates on the market. Please note, the 2.5 lb, 5 lb, and 100 lb weight plates do not offer the grip option.
