Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What specific layout upgrades are available to customize this power rack over time?
A: The GPR378 system features three core mechanical upgrades. You can link the GLA378 Plate-Loaded High/Low Cable Lat Pulley system to introduce back and arm cable tracks. Furthermore, the cable system can be converted via the SP200 200 lb solid weight stack conversion kit to bypass standard plate loading. The DR378 Dip Attachment is also available to lock directly onto the safeties for tricep and chest development.
Q: What is the physical workflow for adjusting the bar catches and saber safeties between different users?
A: The rack handles setup tracking via a standard wrap-around pin design. To shift heights, you tilt the heavy steel catch hook upward to disengage the rear alignment tab, slide the pin completely out of the 3" tracking hole, move to your new target lift step, and rotate down to lock it flush against the frame vertical face.
Q: Can an 8-foot standard Olympic bar fit cleanly on the outer hooks of the GPR378 mainframe structure?
A: Yes. The power cage features a standard outer tracking frame dimension built inline with standard full-sized straight 7-foot barbells. Standard commercial 7-foot or 8-foot Olympic bars will sit perfectly balanced on the catches, whereas compact 5-foot or 6-foot fitness bars may feature sleeves that are too short to span the outer frame width.
Q: What properties classify this power cage under the light commercial structural standard?
A: This rating is driven by the 11-gauge carbon steel composition and thick 3" x 3" mainframe tubing profiles. This architecture safely supports high-weight training environments like personal coaching studios, corporate gym areas, apartment complex activity rooms, high school weight bays, and fire department wellness centers.
Q: Does the frame require structural anchoring pins driven into the subfloor rubber to remain stable?
A: No. Weighing a hefty 225 lbs un-loaded with a wide 50" x 46" stabilizing footprint, the unit stands perfectly stable during standard chin-up work and re-racking maneuvers. However, for maximum peace of mind under extreme power training routines, base structural bolt tabs are present.

Body Solid Power Rack
We purchased a Body Solid Light Commercial Power Rack Cage with the Hi/Low Cable and Weigh Stack. Its set up in our basement for home workouts. I have 2 boys going into high school that are starting to lift and wanted something safe and durable. The rack is very safe and durable and easy to transition from different exercises that require different bar heights. We are very, very happy with our purchase.!!! Also, the customer service has been timely and extremely helpful. Would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Rack
Fairly easy assembly, but I didn't get the weight stack option. Works great with the Body Solid SFID225 bench and I can do just about everything I can do at the gym. Gtech was great to work with!
