The USA Sports Standard Olympic Plates feature milled rims to create a rounder shape and reduce imperfections around the edge, such as cast iron burs, promoting safer handling. The center holes are machine-bored to ensure diameter accuracy and provide a smoother surface for plate loading and unloading.

This USA Sports Weight Set is designed primarily for home use. It can still handle non-membership commercial settings, such as schools, training studios, apartment fitness rooms, fire, and police workout rooms.
