4x6 gym mats are a great alternative to rolled rubber gym flooring, typically requiring adhesive and plenty of labor for installation. 4x6 mats can often be installed without glue, especially for the 1/2" and 3/4" thick sizes. Due to their heavy weight, there is rarely an issue with mats shifting, especially with multiple mats lying side by side.
