Body-Solid Cast Iron Hex Dumbbells feature solid cast iron construction with straight steel handles. They also offer a gray enamel paint finish to help protect against rust and corrosion.

The dumbbell heads are cast around two high carbon Roll Pins in the steel handles. This process creates an added safety measure to help keep the dumbbell heads from completely breaking free of the grip if dropped and broken. However, if this happens, replace the dumbbells immediately. This safety pin feature is only a secondary safety measure. It is not intended for use if the dumbbell head breaks from the handle.

These Body-Solid Dumbbells have large weight indicators molded directly into the iron casting, allowing easy weight identification for you or your members. The 6-sided design helps prevent rolling and keeps dumbbells stationary when stored on flat shelf dumbbell racks and in between sets.
